"Bee"autiful

Gwynn threw an AMAZING baby shower in California (Saturday 15 June 2013).

Complete with decorations that should win a national award.

 

Maria Hargis made cake pops. She said each bee had its own personality. 

Megan's peanut-butter-balls were a hit.

We drank fresh squeezed lemonade and lemon water out of mason jars. 

 

Gwynn served fruit kabobs, salad with mango and avocado, and homemade rolls with honey. (The rolls were the best night night before, right out of the oven! I maybe had three.)

The boys got to stay and eat before they went bowling. 

Megan and baby Zoe. Megan is almost as ready to be an auntie as Gwynn is to be a grandma. Which makes having a baby even more exciting.

There were games, complete with prizes. We played a version of the price is right, draw a baby on a plate on your head, and tried to remember nursery rhymes. 

We guessed the prices of the baby items in the basket.

So many gifts! Baby's biggest birthday party, and he is not even here yet.

The boys finished bowling right as we were finishing opening gifts. Garrett helped open the left few gifts, from his parents.

Brad and Garrett were like little boys playing with legos as they put together the new stroller, the BOB.
