Kale has been sitting up on his own for awhile now, and today he tried sitting in the shopping cart. Going to the store was a whole new experience. He loved looking around and feeling like a big boy. Multiple people commented on how alert he was, (or how alert and cute she was. Does that outfit look girly? I don't think so.)
We went to two stores, and I will say it was nice not carrying the car seat around, and also nice not having to strap him in over and over again. This is a good stage to pick him up, and take him about. He is not mobil or squirming to get out of the cart or my arms. Both are still a treat for him.
He's ready to drive the cart, if only he could figure out how to steer . . .
